Training

Edgar is all about training.

Every week, our new hires sit down with the director of training and quality and the head of our English division for a one hour workshop to brainstorm ideas for sentences that gave them food for thought that week. It’s about finding solutions to translation problems, but it’s also a chance to nerd out about language together. We never stop being amazed at how fascinating translation is!

Edgar also has an internal training database with dozens of recorded trainings. Our translators and revisers have a thirst for knowledge and self-improvement, which our trainings more than satisfy.

We also have a regular workshop program for our translators and revisers, and constantly develop and record new training courses.

As a translator, you never stop learning, and that’s what we’re all about at the Edgar Co-op!
